Baseline Survey/technology identification;

Install/ adapt drying technology and packaging plant;

Procurement of consumables (chemicals, carton for packaging/ labeling etc.)

Capacity building (training and demonstration/inception).
Hiring of Local Consultants.
Project visits for experience sharing and monitoring.
Project Financing Agreement signed for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Pakistan. Signing of Project Financing Agreements (PFAs) is in process for Sri Lanka;
First fund has been disbursed to Bangladesh component of the project.
Bangladesh component of the project is in the process of floating tenders for construction of well equipped pack house and laboratory.
Project component of Afghanistan, Nepal and Pakistan are in the process of opening project bank accounts as per respective government’s requirement.
